"I feel that my child has really benefited from participating in the Time2Shine programme. I have observed a positive change in my child’s holistic development in particular her emotional wellbeing. Generally, my child is reluctant to take part in activities, however she is always enthusiastic about Time2Shine and very much enjoys sharing her experiences.
I feel the service is excellent and has really helped to develop my child's confidence and self esteem"

The Dare 2 Dream Foundation have been working with us since February 2016. Once a week staff spend the morning supporting our more vulnerable pupils who have difficulties regulating their emotional behaviours, which impact upon their social interactions within school and their general behaviours both at home and school. They use a variety of techniques to gain the children's trust and confidence to enable them to engage and address individual difficulties.
Both staff and parents report that they've seen increases in pupil engagement in class and general improvements in self-belief and the ability to communicate personal needs, thoughts, wants and emotions. Parents have reported that pupils are able to discuss emotions and feelings more positively at home.
We will certainly be continuing our work with The D2D Foundation and we look forward to further successes.

'We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dare2Dream for their intervention at St. Alban's. We were at breaking point with one of our pupils and exclusion seemed as if it was the only option. Dare2Dream supported us as a whole school community. Their vision of ensuring that young pupil have confidence and self belief to flourish has been made a reality with one of our most vulnerable pupils.
Staff are not only highly professional but deliver on all levels. They have supported us at our lowest points and ensured that we as teachers have also grown in confidence. Working with children's peers, teachers and family members has meant that we are changing mindsets for sustained improvement in behaviour and life chances. We are looking forward to continuing to work alongside Dare2Dream'.

We have been supported by Dare2Dream for two terms now at Longdon Hall School. During this time Steve has covered a range of relevant topics with our pupils including employment and careers, dealing with money, leadership, actions and consequences, social media and mental health. As a result of Steve's energy, enthusiasm and subject knowledge our pupils have fully engaged in and contributed to the sessions. As a result this has had a direct impact on developing pupil's levels of self-esteem, confidence and resilience. We are looking forward to further developing our working partnership with Steve and his team this term.

Over the past 5 years my daughter has struggled due to her mental health and as a result has not been able to go to mainstream school. She has seen many mental health professionals none of whom have been able to help and this in itself has fed her condition making it worse. Less than one year ago leaving her bedroom to have a home schooling lesson was an achievement.
Since she has been working with Dare2Dream things have changed dramatically. They have supported her to build up her emotional framework and believe in herself. The subtle approach they have used has been far more effective than any other therapy which has been attempted. She is now attending school daily and has regained confidence to do some of the ‘normal things’ many children take for granted such as going into school on her own, getting the bus home from school with a friend and interacting socially with friends.
For me the support they have offered has been brilliant and I would recommend them to anyone who has a child who needs support.

The Dare2Dream Foundation have worked in partnership with us now for nearly two years. We are pleased to announce that we have had no hesitation in committing for a third year. Throughout this period, Dare2Dream have worked with a range of students including those at risk of permanent exclusion and those who required early intervention for increasing negative behaviours. In the first year all students reduced their negative logs by over 30%.
Their programme's have also helped raise the aspirations of our Looked After students whilst supporting them both socially and emotionally. All students now realise the importance of their education and have made progress in all subject areas.
For us, the progress made by our students is proof that this service is invaluable and we will continue with this provision for as long as it is available to us. We cannot thank the team enough!
